The best age to start is between 0 to 1 year old because the child will develop their listening skills and accept every sound they hear.  It also gives the brain a workout.  Research shows us that the earlier we put all of our lobes to work at once, the better.

Kindermusik is a teaching method with music, singing, movement, story telling, games, and etc.  They have courses for different ages of children.  It is super fun!  You can find out more about Kindermusik here.

The teachers go through training by Kindermusik International.  Our Kindermusik teachers Vanessa Lee and Kristine Chen are both licensed teachers from Kindermusik International.

The best age to start piano lesson is age 5.  Piano lessons will include theory, number,  writing, and etc.  5 years old is the perfect age to start the training.  We have multiple piano teachers for you to choose from.  Every teacher has a different rate depends on their background and teaching experience.  Please call or text (858) 205-8797 to set up an interview.

For piano lessons, the tuition is charged once a month. Tuition has to be paid by the first lesson of the month.  For any cancellation, please give us a 48-hour notice to avoid the charge for the lesson. You can pay via cash, check, Venmo or Zelle.  We do not accept credit cards at this moment. 

Happy Tune Music Studio was founded by three owners: Vanessa Lee is a piano teacher for beginner to advanced students. Kristine is a piano, cello, and Kindermusik teacher for young children.  Peter Wu is a Tai Chi and Qi-Gong instructor for adults.

We have music recitals twice a year.  The first recital is for all students.  The second recital is only for the advanced students.
